There are twelve whole reasons to be very excited about NNAMDÏ's forthcoming album BRAT. The Chicago songwriter and multiinstrumentalist has already offered a few of them by way of tracks such as "Wasted," and on this here Valentine's Day, he's delivering one more. It's a pummeling, acoustic guitar-led track called "Flowers To My Demons" that sounds totally different than anything he's put out before, punctuating the range NNAMDÏ delivers across the album.

In a press statment, he wrote that the song “pinpoints behaviors and habits within us that we may not be proud of, so that we may bring them to light and work on them, even while acknowledging that there are imperfections within us all.
