Jazz Cartier shared his most recent single on Friday, "Itchin For A Lick," ahead of what will likely be a steady flow of new music. After a quiet year and then some in the studio, the Toronto-based MC is set to drop a new project within the coming months, the followup to 2018's Fleurever, which featured singles like "GODFLOWER" and "Tempted."
Feeling fast-paced and to-the-point, Cartier spends the nearly three-minute track settling scores and re-staking his claim on the Toronto underground. "Heard em say, I fell off / this that get back, nigga," he raps over the song's dark but bouncy production. "I ain't come for the talk / I don't chit chat, nigga."
