Lady Gaga is postponing the release of her new album Chromatica due to COVID-19

Lady Gaga has announced that she is delaying the release of her long-anticipated sixth album Chromatica due to the global spread of COVID-19. In a statement posted to her Twitter account, Gaga writes that "it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic.” Elsewhere in the statement, she reveals that she had intended to perform a secret set at Coachella — which has also been postponed.

Chromatica was initially set to release on April 10. In her statement, Gaga confirmed that the album is still due to arrive this year. Watch the video for lead single "Stupid Love" below.
