Digital FORT Day 1 is now over, and this video has been removed from The FADER.

Los Angeles-based Deb Never is one of the most exciting singer-songwriters to come out of a generation that doesn’t really care about genre. “It’s more honest than sad,” she told Andrea Domanick for a Gen F feature at the end of last year. “That’s the genre, if anything.” For Digital FORT, Never sent us a grainy acoustic performance of recent singles “Stone Cold” and an unreleased song, “Crutches,” peeling back the layers of production to reveal two intelligently groggy, grunge-influenced songs.
