One of the biggest obstacles in bridging generations together on popular music from one decade to the next is presenting the old as relevant while making sense of the new. LASTMONDAY makes light work of that task with his mixtape Yo, Tigerito!. He mixes Big Pun with Tego Calderon, Ja Rule with De La Ghetto, Bobby Valentino with Don Omar, and DMX with Ivy Queen. He also finds a way to sample Teriyaki Boyz' "Tokyo Drift" and Mike Jones' "Still Tippin" in a unique way. At every opportunity, LASTMONDAY sprinkles in his own Dominican sazón (slang and flow) that creates a new experience altogether.

He explained the inspiration for bringing these cultures together via email: "Growing up in the Bronx brings back a lot of dope vibes especially when I think about the music we used to bump in the hood, the timeless throwbacks we still play till this day. As a Latino, Dominican, and American I showcase my personality best when mixing both worlds into one and this tape truly personifies that. Let me bring you into my world."
