SG Lewis, the producer behind the fan-favorite Dua Lipa cut "Hallucinate," has dropped a new track under his own name. "Impact" is a pretty major posse cut, featuring the all-conquering Robyn and Channel Tres, a fast-rising electronic composer in his own right. From the jump, the song combines the cabana house of Todd Terje with Delorean-accented propulsiveness of the best bloghouse tracks; it's hard not to get on board with something this fun. Check it out above, and listen to SG's previous song "Chemicals" here.
Lewis called the song "possibly my favorite record I’ve ever been a part of” in a press release. “'Impact' is about how someone can come into your life and completely change you either for better or worse. In this instance, it was for the better and I’m going through the emotions of denying something that’s obviously good for me but the hurt I’ve been through in my past causes me to put up defense mechanisms. While I’m putting up the defenses, the person trying to love me pursues me consistently and this impacts my life in so many ways.”
