A new report by TMZ says that Kanye West is being sued by Black-owned tech company MyChannel, Inc. for breaching an agreement they had in place and failing to pay the company for its services. Per the report, MyChannel says that West first started working with the company around Spring 2018, in an effort to increase revenue for Yeezy, his clothing company. MyChannel allege that they provided services to West for six months “based on a series of business promises,” such as a $10 million investment from the rapper. According to Pitchfork, MyChannel’s lawsuit also alleges that the company did $7 million in work for Yeezy, which was never paid for.

Furthermore, MyChannel states that it moved headquarters to Calabasas and Chicago — West’s place of residence and hometown, respectively — to suit his needs. The company claims that West was only interested in MyChannel so that he could crib its technology for his Sunday Service series. The company seeks over $20 million in damages.
