Ty Dolla $ign shared the video for his latest single, "Expensive," alongside Nicki Minaj on Friday. From a barrage of shopping bags, money literally flying out of pockets, and swimming pools filled with diamonds, the clip offers up a fun, animated take on excess.
"‘Expensive’ is all about showing your girl that she deserves only the finest things in life," Ty said in a press release. "I wanted to put a female on the song and Nicki was the only voice I could hear on it. So when I sent her the record and she sent her verse right back, I knew we had a hit on our hands."
Most recently, Ty shared the single "Ego Death" alongside Kanye West, Skrillex, FKA twigs. While he recently reassured fans that his third solo album would be dropping soon, there's no word whether "Expensive" or "Ego Death" will make it to the tracklist.
