It's been a bittersweet year for Lil Durk. The Chicago rapper found new heights of success thanks to his album Just Cause Y'all Waited 2 and his feature on Drake's smash hit "Laugh Now Cry Later," but in November, his friend and labelmate King Von was shot dead in Atlanta. The spoils of an unforgettable 2020, as well as its tragedies, are on display in Lil Durk's music video for "Backdoor," a brand new track. There is no shortage of glittering diamonds and stacks of cash in the video, but the jewelry also includes a chain in tribute to Von. It's an appropriately melancholy sight for a song with disappointment and betrayal simmering beneath the flexing. Check it out above.
