Slayyyter announces debut album Troubled Paradise, shares new song

Slayyyter announced the upcoming release of her debut album Troubled Paradise, set to drop on June 11th, alongside sharing the album's title track. The single serves as the follow-up to earlier singles "Self Destruct" feat. Wuki and "Throatzillaaa" from last year.

On “Troubled Paradise,” Slayyyter reflects on lost love and heartbreak over retro wave-tinged production, a departure from the braggadocio of her previous singles. "Was I sweet enough? / Please tell me the truth / Did you love me too," she wonders on the track. An 80s-inspired, Munachi Osegbu-directed video for the track is set to premiere on Friday afternoon.
