One of the more famous moments from Carpool Karaoke history, for those who keep track, is Adele rapping the entirety of Nicki Minaj's "Monster" verse back in 2016. Naturally, Nicki Minaj had to return the honor during her appearance on James Corden's popular segment this week. Minaj, who recently dropped new song "We Go Up" with Fivio Foreign, sang Adele's "Someone Like You" with the Late Late Show host as well as running through "Starships," "Super Bass" and "Do We Have A Problem?"

Minaj also spoke about how under the microscope she feels as an artist in the public eye. “I think when I was younger, my more natural state was to be more confident. But I think when you’re a woman and you’re in the public eye all the time, if you’re not careful you can become less confident because you’re being constantly scrutinised. I just don’t think it’s natural. It’s not natural for a human being to feel like everyone’s critiquing them,” she said.
