Stella Donnelly has announced details of a new album. Flood is out August 26 via Secretly Canadian with today's announcement arriving alongside a video for album opener "Lungs." Check that out below.
The follow-up to 2019's Beware of the Dogs was co-produced by Donnelly with Anna Laverty and Methyl Ethyl’s Jake Webb. It was written and recorded in various locations in Donnelly's native Australia as she moved around during the pandemic.
"I had so many opportunities to write things in strange places,” Donnelly says in a statement. "I often had no choice about where I was. There’s no denying that not being able to access your family with border closures, it zooms in on those parts of your life you care about."
Donnelly has also announced details of a world tour, which kicks off in San Diego on September 11. See below for her North American dates.
