Bomba Estéreo and Manu Chao share new song and video “Me Duele”

The new song comes in the midst of Bomba Estéreo’s world tour.

September 14, 2022

Columbian electro-cumbia group Bomba Estéreo have teamed up with French-Spanish songwriter Manu Chao for a brand new single called "Me Duele.” For many listeners, it'll be their second taste of Bomba Estéreo after their beautiful appearance on Bad Bunny's "Ojitos Lindos" from his global smash record Un Verano Sin Ti.

Happily, the new track showcases the bubbly and colorful energy that has maintained Bomba Estéreo's fanbase since their debut in 2006. In the track's music video, Bomba Estéreo's Liliana Saumet and Manu Chau dance and sing in a world made out of bright cardboard construction paper. Their energy is infectious, to say the least, and should add some much-needed joy to your mid-morning blues. Watch below:

"We are very happy to collaborate with one of the greatest artists ever," Bomba Estéreo founder Simon Mejia said of the group's Manu Chau collaboration. "This song was created during a wonderful organic collaboration. It's a song about how pain can always find its relief during difficult times and life can come back to its essential beauty."

For the rest of 2022, Bomba Estéreo will continue touring across the United States and Europe. See those dates below:
