Ciara has dropped a new single with a little help from her fellow Atlanta-native Summer Walker. "Better Thangs" follows Ciara's "Jump," a song that arrived this summer and marked her first new music in two years. Check out their collaboration below.
In a statement about “Better Thangs,” Ciara described it as "a feel-good R&B anthem for elevating every aspect of your life" written to "bring joy while inspiring the continuous evolution of one’s self."
Speaking about working with Walker, she added: “I have so much respect for my girl Summer and it’s fitting to have her on the record because we connect on so many levels, from where we come from, to our journeys and our mission to inspire other people to go after what they deserve in life… better thangs!”
The most recent Ciara album, Beauty Marks, was released in 2019. Summer Walker released her latest album Still Over It last year.
