Burna Boy has released a music video for “Common Person,” taken from his 2022 album, Love, Damini. The video, which you can see above, sees the Nigerian artist make a surprise visit to a village, charming the residents as he joins them in their daily chores. As night falls he turns entertainer, performing live and helping set the party atmosphere.
Love, Damini, Burna Boy's sixth studio album, was released last July and features the singles "Last Last" and "It's Plenty." "Last Last" was named The FADER's best song of 2022.
Burna Boy is nominated for Best Global Music Performance and Best Global Music Album at this year's Grammy Awards, which take place on Sunday, February 5. He previously took home the Best Global Music Album for Twice As Tall at the 2021 ceremony.
