Joining Doja Cat on the list are fellow musicians Steve Lacy and Beyoncé. Iranian singer Shervin Hajipour, whose song "Baraye" became a soundtrack to Iran's women-led protests in late 2022, also makes the top 100.

Entertainers on this year's list include Jennifer Coolidge, Michael B. Jordan, Austin Butler, Zoe Saldaña, Angela Bassett, Aubrey Plaza, Colin Farrell, Drew Barrymore, Jerrod Carmichael, Ali Wong, Salma Hayek Pinault, Nathan Fielder and more. A number of athletes are also in there, including Patrick Mahomes II, Lionel Messi, Brittney Griner, Iga Swiatek, Kylian Mbappé, and Mikaela Shiffrin.

This year's TIME100 also features 16 climate leaders, higher than any year previous, including Anthony Albanese, Gustavo Petro, Catherine Coleman Flowers, Elizabeth Maruma Mrema, and Robin Zeng.

Over the past few months, Doja Cat has been discussing her next album in interviews and across social media. The sound of her follow-up to 2021's Planet Her remains to be seen with the singer citing German rave music and "rap only" among the many styles she is keen to focus on.
