Denzel Curry covers Erykah Badu on Live At Electric Lady EP

Denzel Curry is among the most explosive and versatile live performers around right now; note his 2022 Tiny Desk Concert and a super-heavy RATM cover recorded a year prior for proof. It's exciting, then, to see he has dropped a whole live EP recorded at New York's Electric Lady. The Spotify-exclusive release features Curry running through a handful of songs from last year's Melt My Eyes See Your Future backed by The Cold Blooded Soul Band. He also adds two covers to the mix; Erykah Badu's Mama's Gun song "Didn't Cha Know" (with special guest Bilal) and Shogun's "Lonely Man," which fans of vintage Japanese TV will recognize from '80s cop drama The Detective Story.
