Lauren Auder has released a double single to coincide with the announcement of her new album the infinite spine. Following "we2assume2many2roles," "hawthorne81" and "atoms" are both gothic ballads that leave plenty of room for light, not unlike panes of stained glass through which to perceive the London-based singer and producer's arresting voice.

“It’s too easy to refute the material, embracing that won’t make you above it” Auder said of “hawthorne81” in a press release. It speaks to her dauntless embrace of big capital-P pop moments, like last minute of "atoms," a song that's "inspired by a falsely comforting thought, that of not being responsible for this world.”

the infinite spine releases July 21st on True Panther Records. Watch the visualizers for "hawthorne81" and "atoms" below, and check out the album's cover art and track list as well.
