Offset has voluntarily dropped his lawsuit against Migos' longtime label Quality Control, TMZ reports. The rapper sued last year over ownership of his solo master recordings, filing a complaint that the label was continuing to claim ownership despite him buying the rights to them in 2021. He filed to dismiss the case with prejudice on Tuesday, August 8.

Offset is now signed to Motown as a solo artist. Last year, Quality Control allegedly demanded to be listed as holding an ownership interest in his single "5 4 3 2 1," an action which, per the original complaint, "knowingly violates Offset's rights to his own music." Offset's latest single on Motown is the Cardi B collab "Jealousy," which dropped last month.

The FADER has reached out to Offset's representatives for comment.
