The 2023 MTV VMAs are just around the corner. Emceed by Nicki Minaj, who will also perform live, the awards will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on September 12. The 2023 MTV VMAs are on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. PDT on MTV.

How can I stream the 2023 MTV VMAs?

If you have a cable subscription, the 2023 MTV VMAs will be airing simultaneously on several different networks other than MTV: BET, BET Her, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, and VH1. Who is performing?

A stacked bill of nominated artists will perform at this year’s event, including Shakira and Diddy. Joining them on the bill will be Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B (performing their new song "Bongos"), Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Lil Wayne, Peso Pluma, Nicki Minaj, Metro Boomin with Future, NAV, Swae Lee, and A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Fall Out Boy, NLE Choppa, Karol G, Anitta, Reneé Rapp, Tomorrow x Together, Sabrina Carpenter, Stray Kids, Demi Lovato, Maneskin, Kelsea Ballerini, and Kaliii.

Who is nominated?

The nominees for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards were announced last month. Taylor Swift and SZA take the lead in terms of overall nominations, with 11 and 8 respectively, The Video of the Year category will be contested by SZA and Swift alongside Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Smith & Kim Petras. Shakira will collect the Video Vanguard Award while Diddy will be in attendance to pick up the Global Icon Award.
