The Milwaukee Bucks have acquired Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard in a trade, ESPN reports, as part of a three-team deal with the Phoenix Suns.

Heading to Portland are Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, and Toumani Camara, along with Milwaukee's 2028 and 2030 unprotected swap rights and 2029 unprotected first-round draft pick. The Phoenix Suns will get Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen, Nassir Little, and Keon Johnson.

The news comes after rumors of the player potentially joining the Toronto Raptors. Back in July, Lillard reportedly requested a trade from the Blazers after 11 years with the team.

“We have been clear that we want Dame here but he notified us today he wants out and he’d prefer to play someplace else," Trail Blazers GM Joe Cronin said in a statement at the time. "What has not changed for us is that we’re committed to winning, and we are going to do what’s best for the team in pursuit of that goal.”

In 2012, Lillard was named Rookie of the Year. He has received seven NBA All-Star and seven All-NBA Team selections and is the only Blazers team member in history to do so.
