G-funk trailblazer C-Knight is reportedly on life support following a stroke, TMZ reports.

The Dove Shack founder — a.k.a. Arnez Blount — was hospitalized for high blood sugar levels on October 18 and has continued to experience further complications related to his diabetes during his hospitalization.

C-Knight’s father, George Lee Washington Blount Jr., said the rapper went on to suffer from a stroke while receiving dialysis in the hospital. He was later put on life support after also going into cardiac arrest.

However, Blount said his son’s condition has only worsened. Over the weekend, the doctors told C-Knight’s family that he’s currently unresponsive, and it’s unclear whether there’s any brain activity.

On October 22, C-Knight's bandmate Bo-Roc shared an Instagram post asking fans to pray for Knight. "I'm literally begging all who see's this post to pray for my brother from another mother and one of my closest friends in the world Arnez a.k.a C Knight from the Dove Shack," he wrote.

Per the L.A. Times, the Long Beach-based MC is best known for his contributions to West Coast rap in the ‘90s with The Dove Shack, the collective he founded 1994 with 2Scoops and Bo-Roc. With ties to the likes of Nate Dogg and Snoop Dogg, the collective was featured on G-funk legend Warren G’s debut album, Regulate … G Funk Era before releasing their own hit single, “Summertime in the LBC.”
