The Smile have revealed details of their brand-new album, Wall Of Eyes. The album is the second from the trio (Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood plus drummer Tom Skinner) and follows their 2022 debut A Light For Attracting Attention. It was recorded in Oxford and London's Abbey Road Studios and is produced and mixed by Sam
Petts-Davies and features string arrangements by the London Contemporary Orchestra.
Today's announcement arrives alongside the album title track. Phantom Thread and There Will Be Blood director Paul Thomas Anderson has directed a video for "Wall Of Eyes" that can be seen below. Anderson has previously directed videos for both Radiohead and Yorke's solo project.
The Smile have also announced a headline European tour for March 2024, including dates in the U.K., Ireland, Denmark, Belgium, and Netherlands. The tour dates go on sale on Friday November 17.
