Last month, Veeze dropped the deluxe edition of his June debut LP, Ganger, adding five new songs to the project. Shortly thereafter, he shared visuals for one of these tracks, “Get Lucki,” showing off his recent FADER cover in the clip. Today (November 21), Veeze has returned with a new video for the Ganger (Deluxe) cut “LICK,” an extremely on-brand, idiosyncratic flex.
“This my put n***as down video,” Veeze announces at the start of the Shooter Jimmy-directed short before the track kicks in. The ensuing clip switches restlessly between lo- and hi-res shots of the Detroit rapper performing and moving between events with a speed that suggests there’s little downtime in his ride to the top, but he’s enjoying it nonetheless.
