Watch Olivia Rodrigo’s Tiny Desk Concert

Rodrigo also appeared on SNL this weekend, starring in a sketch about tiny bags.

Olivia Rodrigo is the latest artist to find herself in the Tiny Desk Concert studio, bringing songs from her Grammy-nominated Guts to the NPR audience. "I was saying earlier, I've never been starstruck by a room before," she says at one point as she references the many artists who have gone before her.

Rodrigo used her Tiny Desk Concert to spotlight some of the slower songs on Guts, performing acoustic versions of "Love Is Embarrassing," "Vampire," "Lacy," and "Making The Bed." For the latter, she played completely solo, with her bandmates leaving her alone at the piano.

Rodrigo also performed on this weekend's Saturday Night Live musical guest, where she appeared alongside host Adam Driver. She played a similarly stripped-back "Vampire" there, too, as well as leaning into her riot grrrl influences on a messy rendition of "All-American Bitch." She also joined the cast for a sketch, playing Georgina, a fan of "tiny ass bags" big enough for nothing more than an iPod Nano.
