Beyoncé has won Best Country Album at the 2025 Grammys for her 2024 project Cowboy Carter. The album, Beyoncé's first in the genre and eighth, beat out releases from Post Malone (F-1 Trillion), Kacey Musgraves (Deeper Well), Chris Stapleton (Higher), and Lainey Wilson (Whirlwind).
"I'd like to thank all the country artists that accepted this album," Beyoncé said in her acceptance speech. "I think genre is a cold word to keep us in our place as artists and I just want to encourage people to do what they're passionate about, and to stay persistent."
It's the second country Grammy win of the night for Beyoncé after picking up the Best Country Duo/Group Performance award for “II Most Wanted," the Cowboy Carter duet with Miley Cyrus. She was the most winningest artist in Grammy history before tonight, and she's looking to extend her lead even further, with nominations in 11 other categories.
