Make way: Diana Ross is here. The legendary Supreme singer made her way to the 2025 Met Gala red carpet on Monday marking her first time attending the event in 20 years. Ross, escorted by her son, wore a voluminous white and silver satin gown with a yards-long train, feather boa, and feathered hat — that held a lot of personal significance to the singer.
Speaking to Met Gala co-host Keke Palmer, Ross described the sparkling dress as a "family gown," and revealed that the train included the embroidered names of children and grandchildren. "I had to be careful with the hat because my head is pretty big," she added, laughing. Alongside her son Evan Ross, her daughter, Tracee Ellis Ross is also attending the event tonight.
It's been over 20 years since Ross attended a Met Gala function; her last appearance was in 2003, where she attended alongside Tom Ford and wore a fiery red frock.
