Jeremy Allen White plays Bruce Springsteen in the first official trailer for Deliver Me From Nowhere, the upcoming music biopic.

Allen White, best known for his role on The Bear, was comfirmed to be playing The Boss in April 2024. Like Timothée Chalamet in A Complete Unknown, Allen White is singing in the movie in addition to acting. He stars alongside Jeremy Strong (Succession) as Jon Landau, Springsteen’s manager; Stephen Graham (Adolescence) as Springsteen’s dad in the movie, which opens later this year.

Directed by Scott Cooper, Deliver Me From Nowhere is adapted from Warren Zanes’ book about Springsteen making his 1982 album Nebraska.

Additional cast members due to appear in the bipic include Paul Walter Hauser as recording engineer Mike Batlan, Odessa Young as Springsteen’s love interest Faye, Marc Maron as producer Chuck Plotkin, and David Krumholtz as Columbia record executive Al Teller.

Deliver Me From Nowhere is due in theaters on October 24. Check out the first trailer below.
