A Justin Bieber impersonator performed at the XS nightclub at the Wynn Las Vegas on August 16 after tricking staff into thinking he was the Canadian singer. He was able to perform a handful of songs including Bieber’s hit “Sorry” in front of a rapturous audience before the club realized its mistake.

“After an elaborate and multi-step ruse by him and his advance team, a Justin Bieber impersonator was granted access to the XS stage,” a representative for Wynn and XS Nightclub told TMZ. “As soon as the error was recognized, he was removed from the resort and denied future entry."

The doppelgänger allegedly turned out to be Dylan Desclos, who arrived at the hotel with an entourage styled like Bieber’s security team; videos soon flooded social media of pedestrians angling for selfies, thinking they’d stumbled across the reclusive star. DJ Gryffin, the headlining performer at XS, unknowingly brought the imposter onstage after he was informed that Justin Bieber was in town and wanted to host a surprise show at XS Nightclub.

When the hotel discovered the ruse, they kicked the impersonator off the property and banned him for life. Meanwhile, DJ Gryffin took the situation in stride, creating an Instagram Reel recounting his experience of the night.

Bieber released his seventh studio album, Swag, earlier this summer on July 10. He’s been featured in only a few performances over the past three years, including his unexpected duet with SZA during a Grand National Tour performance on May 23, 2025. His last solo concert was just before the cancellation of the Justice World Tour, which began in February 2022 but was cut short in September 2022 due to health reasons.
