Clairo and Rostam, the duo who brought us "Bags" and other indie classics, are back together.
Today, producer and artist Rostam releases a new song, "Hardy" featuring Clairo. He famously produced her debut album, Immunity, which features hits like "Softly," "Sofia," and more.

The song, which will be on Rostam's forthcoming album American Stories (out May 15), is orchestral and brightly buoyant. Its instrumental, initially made in 2012, samples Georges Delerue’s film score from the 1973 film Day for Night by Francis Truffaut. Its last section features Clairo's soft and hopeful vocals over over delicate piano and warbled strings.
"Hardy’ is a song about looking forward and looking back. Ultimately, I hope ['Hardy'] leaves you with some feeling of hope for the future," shares Rostam via a press release. "I’m so happy Claire could make a guest appearance and sing her own section of the song— I have always loved the way her voice communicates optimism.”
This is the third single Rostam has shared from his forthcoming album, released on his own label, Matsor Projects. He already released tracks "Back of a Truck" and "Like a Spark."
