The 9th annual New York Music Month festival is fully underway with an ambitious program in support of the city's thriving music scene. After kicking off on June 3 with the Flagship NYMM Conference in Lower Manhattan, the month’s calendar of events includes fireside chats with Grammy winner Samara Joy and Frankie Grande, plus an indie artist panel with Cautious Clay, L'Rain, Anik Kahn, Margaret Glaspy, and Anand Wilder.
Events will continue through June 30, with more than 60 free events, including 20+ performances and 40+ talks. Live concerts from New York City-based artists Kelsey Lu, The Antlers, SALIMATA, and more will also take place across the five boroughs. The month-long event will spotlight independent radio through showcases curated by WNYC, WFUV, WFMU, The Lot Radio, and WKCR.
