underscores and The FADER are throwing a sunset rave at Elsewhere

underscores is The FADER’s the latest cover star.

This Thursday, July 9, the underground hero turned pop star is partnering with The FADER to host an exclusive sunset rave (with friends) in Brooklyn, New York, on the rooftop of Elsewhere. The event comes ahead of her July 2026 FADER cover, which launches Tuesday, July 14, at 9 a.m. ET. The story goes in-depth on how she's navigating her precipitous rise, her GALLERIA tour, and soon, playing arenas with Charli xcx.

Festivities will kick off at 5:30 p.m. ET at Elsewhere's rooftop at 599 Johnson Ave. Admission is free with RSVP and will be on a first-come, first serve basis. An RSVP won't guarantee entry once the roof reaches capacity, so come early.

The San Francisco-born artist is experiencing a breakthrough year. Her third album, U, released in March, carved a unique pocket of catchiness in the oversaturated sea of hyperpop. The record melds digicore, R&B, and rock with destructive and zappy hooks, and is one of The FADER’s best albums of 2026 so far.
