On Saturday, September 26, Kendrick said on social media that Ross had “busted her lip” and that the day he hit her was “the day [she] left.” Kendrick posted images of her injuries to social media at the time.
Per Miami Dade County court records, the alleged assault took place the morning of August 28. Per the arrest form, Kendrick reported the assault on September 29, and told police that Ross had slapped her in the face repeatedly and hit her in the chest “several times” before grabbing her by the ponytail and slamming her against the wall. Kendrick says Ross then hit her in the face as she was bent over, splitting her lip. Kendrick also provided police with timestamped photographic evidence.
Ross is best known for songs including "Aston Martin Music" and "Hustlin'." The FADER is following this ongoing story.
