Troye Sivan, “FF”
The focus track from Sivan’s new, surprisingly melancholic album album is as clever as it is lush. It’s chorus — where Sivan sings the words “fucking forever” — works as both a statement of desire and an expression of infinity. Be wary if your heart feels heavy. Laila!, “We’ll Never Be This Young Again”
Laila!’s new song is perfect for a New York City October where the temp is still hitting the 80s. “Summer isn’t done yet / 'Cause we’ll never be this young again,” she sings on this ode to a lover who makes her feel like the sun won’t set until 8 PM, no matter what month it is. —Kylah Williams
Star Moles, “Born Again”
Star Moles is a singer-songwriter from Philly, but her latest release “Born Again” feels like it could’ve been released at the height of ‘60s psychedelic folk. Over fuzzy guitar, she talks someone down from the ledge, cooing gentle reassurances. “Believe me, you’re gonna be fine / Your mommy and daddy love you,” she sings. It’s enough to bring a tear to your eye. — Steffanee Wang

Cameron Winter, “It All Fell in the River”
This new song from Cameron Winter’s live album recorded at Carnegie Hall showcases how Winter’s lyrics can sound both cosmic and intimate. “It all fell in the river and I came home,” he sings over bouncy piano chords. He sounds like both a yearning youngster and someone old and wisened. — TH
Corridos Ketamina, “Ambient Wife”
This folksy love song rains worship on a woman from every angle: her looks, smell, taste, performance in bed, and bedside manner. There is one odd lyric about her eyes that I can’t make sense of, but something about it continues to draw me in. — SW
kuru found some time while on tour in London to get in the studio with our former GEN F star YT. “Forever” has a propulsive jerk beat, courtesy of 1C34/studygroup co-founder cranes which is an ideal backdrop for YT and kuru to flex their designer purchases. — Vivian Medithi
Oxis & torr, “Grey Mullet (Flip)”
Dance Fish 1 is a new remix project from Oxis that turns her DIY electropop into rave-ready anthems, thanks to producer torr. If Oxis’s solo music is a study in tension and balance, Dance Fish 1 feels like ecstatic freefall. — VM>
Cute Door, “Impossible Moose”
Cute Door is a demon in athleisure. The New York City artist and producer’s new project Impossible Moose has been perplexing me with its haunted energy and booming bass. Its title track is hilarious and scary. “A lake house from my aunt named sue,” she whispers, before talking about feeding on bones. I’m so seated. — TH
