Zola Jesus' EP Stridulum was a career game changer. Not that her previous work was shabby, but after listening to Stridulum it's kinda like the other stuff is a good touchstone to see where she's coming from, but it's more exciting to see where she's going. It makes sense then that they're beefing up the EP with some extra tracks and releasing it as her debut album. That beefed up version will feature "Sea Talk" which could totally find a comfortable place on the Titanic soundtrack and in the hearts of a million 9-year-old girls in 1997.
