Adele's Ex-Boyfriend Wants Album Royalties For Being a Prick

Following the success of her second album (21 is current the #1 album in the US and topping the UK charts for a 14th consecutive week), Adele's debut record 19 is experiencing a sales revival. Now, three years following its release, the ex-boyfriend Adele refuses to name publicly is making a claim to some of the 2008 record's new profits, arguing that their miserable relationship inspired its songs. "He really thought he'd had some input into the creative process by being a prick," Adele told The Sun. "For about a week he was calling and was deadly serious about it. Finally, I said ‘Well, you made my life hell, so I lived it and now I deserve it.'"
