The last time I thought about JoJo was in 2004, when she released the processed pop (but not entirely bad) “Leave (Get Out),” at 14. In the video, she’s wearing a ribbed tank-top that says “boys stink.” In the seven years since, she’s naturally refined her vocal output, though her general purview remains unchanged. She is now, however, semi-excellent with a barb, in place of vague pop platitudes. Over Drake’s melancholy, self-indulgent “Marvin’s Room” beat, JoJo laments Fuck that new girl that you like so bad/ She’s not crazy like me/ I bet you like that. Then she gets raw: When you’re in her I know I’m in your head. She should duet with Adele.

this is cute for her. An answer track…love that pop stars are doing that again.
No lie, JoJo’s debut album is 2004 was NOT F*CKING BAD.
She sounds a little bit like Robyn, now. Wooow.
Um, whoa.
she remade houstonatlantavegas too. this a whole ‘nother beat though. sounds like Marvin’s Room.
I like Kayla Bliss’ version better. Hers is called “Minnie’s Room” http://youtu.be/7jqzze-ZY-U
