Teen Daze, “The Harvest” MP3

Rising pride of British Columbia Teen Daze sounds almost post-rock on “The Harvest,” the second leak off his upcoming A Silent Planet EP. There’s something super familiar about the beatless track and the tones it’s funneling through—delicate single notes on the guitar and the briefest glimpse of saxophone showered in typically well done reverb. For a record essentially dedicated to space travel, “The Harvest” feels happily terrestrial, a little bit Friday Night Lights driving at dusk, the soundtrack to beat up pickup trucks and orange sky. A Silent Planet comes out August 9th on Waaga.

Wow. This song is gorgeous. Feels almost like a winter song but at the same time like humid summer nights on rooftops.

Also where is that photo from?
