It's Labor Day weekend, a holiday that, since I've been back on the East Coast, makes me really miss California. There, Labor Day just marks another long weekend in the interminable stretch of pleasant days. Here, Labor Day is a bit of a last gasp, like, You know this all is going to end soon, right? BETTER MAKE IT LAST. One way might be to just play Fleetwood Mac ad nauseum, and then, once I've alienated every single person around me for being overly nostalgic for 2007 (my last year in California), I'll play this HEALTH cover of "Goth Star." Maybe I'll even play the Pictureplane version, too—a chaser of sorts.
