Interview: Future

October 14, 2011

Future—Dungeon Family producer/songwriter Rico Wade's baby cousin—is the best rapper you don't already love. He's had a great year, bolstered by a string of runaway hit club singles in Atlanta which made it to radio. Future wrote summer stealing "Racks," got T.I.'s first post-prison verse on "Magic" and a cosign from Drake on "Tony Montana." He came through FADER HQ this week to play us some new songs, and brought pistachios to share. He told us why he calls his neighborhood Little Mexico and what to expect from his album Pluto, coming 2012. Check it out above, and download his latest mixtape Streetz Callin here.
