Have 53 minutes to spare in your workday? That's cool. To rub it in, why not watch the new Phoenix documentary From a Mess to the Masses, which aired on French and German television last week and has been ripped and posted online for your viewing pleasure. It chronicles the making of the band's 2009 Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, and features interviews and snippets from all the key players as well as jam sessions on the tour bus and live shows on the road. If you only have a few minutes, I recommend you watch all of the portions featuring producer, Phillipe Zdar; I could pretty much listen to him say "eye of the cyclone" over and and over all day long.
