Video: Panda Bear, “You Can Count On Me”

Panda Bear seems really comfortable with taking his time—four years separated his last two albums—so there's nothing super unexpected about his releasing the video for "You Can Count On Me" eight months after Tomboy came out. Directed by Danny Perez, who actually did that bat-shit bloodbath "You Could Win A Rabbit" video for Animal Collective, "You Can Count On Me" features way-less-jarring swirling cotton candy cell-shapes that ultimately turn into a slobbering dog's mouth. But not in a gross way? Don't forget Panda Bear's totally thorough Tomboy boxset is still available, as featured in our roundup of best presents for music nerds. The four-LP vinyl package is stocking-stuffed with instrumentals and acapellas, with all its proceeds going to American Cancer Society. (via Gorilla vs. Bear)
