Miguel appeared on Letterman last night, introduced by the host with a dramatic Spanish flourish on his name as "singer, songwriter, producer." Performing "Adorn," he waits until the end of song's first line before emerging from a thick wall of smoke. Notably, he performs the shorter version from Art Dealer Chic rather than the extended Kaleidoscope Dream cut (which is out now), tangling all the song's tender oomph into a punchy two minutes. At the end, Letterman told everyone, "Remember, check the batteries on your smoke detectors annually." After, when Miguel got back to his phone, he retweeted this:
Ummm after @miguelunlimited's Letterman performance I'm checkin the batteries in somethin else before I go to sleep tonight. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA
