Previously: Justin Timberlake may be sitting on 20 new tracks, a "source familiar with project" tells Billboard, for an album produced by Timbaland. Late Wednesday night, the singer wrote on Twitter, "Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at 9:01 am PST...," teasing a possible track to be released today. Apparently we'll have to wait a bit longer to hear what he's working on, though. For now, Timberlake's big announcement comes in the form of the video below, which officially announces the forthcoming album. In the clip, Timberlake sheds some light on the break he's taken from recording since 2006's FutureSex/LoveSounds:

Someone asked me the other day, 'So are you just done with music?' It means more to me than anybody else in the world. Look, I've only done two albums in ten years. That's how I really look at it: What does the next decade mean for me? I'm the one who sits and is obsessive about it before you even get to hear it. As close as I get to it, I don't know that I could physically torture myself that much year in and year out and expect it to fulfill me in the way that it does and the way that it is right now. I don't want to put anything out that I feel like is something I don't love. You just don't get that every day. You have to wait for it. I'm ready.
