Video: Broods, “Never Gonna Change”

The beautiful and vaguely-NSFW video finds a couple in their deep woods home which has begun to take on water as their relationship crumbles.

March 04, 2014

Last month New Zealand brother-sister duo Broods released an excellent debut self-titled EP with the help of Joel Little, who also helped shape the sound of Lorde's debut EP and Pure Heroine. Here's a video for haunting stand-out track, "Never Gonna Change." The Nott siblings themselves don't figure into the beautiful and vaguely-NSFW video; rather, it finds a couple in their deep woods home which has begun to take on water as their relationship crumbles -- and as the song's synths build to a crescendo. Broods just wrapped a short run of stateside shows in support of their debut self-titled EP and are headed to Europe where they'll be opening for an other family band, Haim. They'll be back at the end of April for a longer North American tour, see those dates below.
