When we recently spoke with Zola Jesus about her new record, the 25-year-old songwriter talked a little bit about "Dangerous Days," Taiga's massive lead single. "I embraced what I’m good at, which is writing pop songs," she said. "When I was done with it, I was proud of it because I didn’t feel the need to destroy it." While we've always been fans of her disruptive take on pop conventions, this more straightforward approach is pretty undeniable, too. Now there's Tim Saccenti-directed visuals to go along with the track, and they offer a striking mix of sunlit natural imagery and pixelated realms. Taiga is out October 7th on Mute; check out her upcoming tour dates below.
