A. G. Cook is one half—the other being the divisively playful SOPHIE—of QT, the new XL signing responsible for the eponymous, infectious “QT” single. He goes back to some of XL’s early ‘90s roots for inspiration on this remix of How To Dress Well, taking the kind of harmonically saturated, soaring synth pads that have catalyzed many a peak and artfully rearranges “Repeat Pleasure” around them. Perhaps now they’ll soundtrack a deeply emotional moment or two on the subway.
