Time-Warp to the ‘80s with Katie Rush’s “Dangerous Luv”

This moonlit pop song about illicit love is the second single off their recent debut EP, Law of Attraction.

Here's a Friday late-afternoon time-warp for you: Katie Rush—the sum of Brooklyn singer Katie Wagner and producers Sam Mehran (Test Icicles, Outer Limitz) and Zak Mering (Raw Thrills, Greatest Hits, GUNK TV Records)—has dished out a second single from their recent debut EP Law of Attraction, which is just flush with '80s nostalgia. Another moonlit pop song (see also: the title track), "Dangerous Luv" features cosmic distorted guitars, a slinking bass bassline and backing vocals from Friends' Samantha Urbani. It's part virtuous (Tonight I feel so hyper...), part venomous and all fun.
