"here it is - the quieter, slinkier side of the coin," Lorde Tweeted late last night while unveiling Kanye West's remix of "Yellow Flicker Beat," her leading single from the Lorde-curated The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 soundtrack. While 'Ye's remix has 100% less awesome pompadour than the recently unleashed "Yellow Flicker Beat" video, but what it lacks in bouffants it makes up for in the type of dark, gothic atmospherics and hellish howls that marked last year's still-gobsmacking Yeezus.
