Hear The First New N.E.R.D. Track Since 2010

Following the monster success of Pharrell Williams' "Happy" (which was composed for Despicable Me 2), it seems animated movie soundtracks are now his preferred platform, as N.E.R.D. have just shared their new song for the upcoming The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water. Chad Hugo told Variety that when writing the song, the group were "trying not to think too much in a cartoon sense...more just like a psychedelic, otherworldly type of thing. If you want to draw a parallel, maybe think of what the Beatles did with Yellow Submarine." Hear the bouncy "Squeeze Me" above.
